The drive to Alnwick castle is so beautiful- rolling hillsides, lots of sheep and wonderful vistas! Definitely a trip that relies on good weather due to the stop at Lindisfarne where the sights are all uncovered and outside. But the castle would be great regardless, definitely worth doing both the castle and gardens!”
